Claims Product Owner

Job Summary

The Claims Product Owner is responsible for defining the product roadmap and capabilities for developing an enterprise product and services across all ACE markets. This role involves communicating strategic and tactical goals aligned with business line drivers.

Key responsibilities include creating and implementing strategic initiatives to meet company goals, leading the setting of business requirements, managing the product backlog, and prioritizing tasks to achieve business objectives.

Job Duties

  1. Develop and communicate strategic initiatives to ensure success of the enterprise product. Innovate solutions to meet market needs, increase product value, and explore new opportunities. Manage research, analysis, proposals, testing, and product launches.
  2. Research market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities. Align product initiatives with the Club’s strategy and evaluate potential impacts.
  3. Communicate product vision and strategy to the development team. Convert high-level priorities into detailed user stories, create acceptance criteria, and prioritize the product backlog.
  4. Participate in team meetings, facilitate planning, escalate risks, and manage release schedules and defect tracking.
  5. Identify new product opportunities and develop the enterprise product roadmap. Align strategy with the Club’s distribution channels.
  6. Establish and oversee enterprise product goals, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed. Lead usability testing and manage project milestones and deliverables.
  7. Build relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders. Prepare and deliver presentations to executives and stakeholders.
  8. Maintain current knowledge of the product line, develop QA plans, and oversee testing before launch.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 10+ years of Claims business/process experience required.
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven project management and KPI management skills required.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning required.
  • Strategic thinking, process implementation, project coordination, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Understanding of UI principles and data analysis capabilities required.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills required.
  • Customer-centric mindset, Agile practices knowledge, and Scrum certification preferred.

The starting salary range is $129,400 - $172,000. Full-time employees are eligible for an incentive program based on performance.
