Job summary

Alegeus is seeking a Claims Operations Sr. Associate I to join our Bangalore team. You will play a key role delivering accurate claims processing while helping the team meet quality standards, productivity goals, and strong operational performance.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, mentor nesting agents, participate in training, and drive continuous improvement through special projects and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-6 years of operations experience, preferably within claims operations; experience assisting with escalations, coaching, or supporting team members, and working with performance metrics is strongly preferred.
• Profi ciency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook is required.

Responsibilities

• Make a direct impact on member satisfaction by accurately processing claims.
• Drive operational excellence by meeting KPIs including Release Rate, Claims per Hour, and Handle Time.
• Serve as a trusted resource for colleagues by providing timely answers to representative questions and supporting day-to-day operations.
• Partner across internal teams to resolve issues and ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Mentor nesting agents, conduct refresher training sessions, facilitate roundtable discussions, and provide real-time guidance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through special projects, process enhancements, and operational initiatives.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR CREATING A LASTING IMPACT

• Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment, analyze and resolve operational issues, and effectively support and develop teammates.
• Experience: 5-6 years of operations experience, preferably within claims operations. Experience assisting with escalations, coaching or supporting team members, and working with performance metrics is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook is required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
