Job summary

Alegeus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive our technology vision and build high‑performance SaaS applications. You will work in a hybrid setup, contributing from design to deployment within a Scrum team and collaborating with engineers, QA, and product owners to push innovation.

You will design and implement scalable solutions using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, RESTful services, and MS SQL Server, with Azure cloud and Kubernetes deployments. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Strong experience building high-volume SaaS web apps with C#/.NET.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance software in a Scrum environment.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product owners to improve code quality and practices.
• Provide mentorship and promote coding security and development standards.

• Build impactful, high-performance software by developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure applications within a collaborative Scrum team.

• Abilities: Extensive experience developing high-volume, transactional SaaS web applications with strong expertise in T-SQL, SQL Server performance tuning, and Agile methodologies; preferred background includes .NET 8.0+, ASP.NET Web API, LINQ, Dapper, Test Driven Development, real-time financial systems, automated unit testing, and business modeling using UML and use cases.
• Experience: 3+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in web application development using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, RESTful services, MS SQL Server/T-SQL, Pub/Sub, and object-oriented design, along with hands-on experience in Azure cloud solutions, Kubernetes environments, and microservices architecture.
• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required. Master\'s degree preferred.
• Location: This job is hybrid and will require you to be in the Boston office 25% of the time.

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position\u2019s compensation grade and represents a blended range across our three hub locations: Florida, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. Within this range, individual compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and education. This range may also be adjusted based on geographic location and market conditions. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include bonuses, incentive plans, and a comprehensive benefits package.
