Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Business Procedures Consultant on the GCSO team in the United States. You will document and analyze IDI Claims and Reinsurance workflows to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely outcomes, collaborating with Claims, Reinsurance, Finance, Technology, and Audit.

You will develop clear procedures, oversee reviews to identify gaps, and support system enhancements and risk mitigation to improve operational performance and customer outcomes across US insurance operations.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting and improving operational processes.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and risk mitigation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Claims, Reinsurance, Finance, Technology, and Audit.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and documentation of IDI Claims and Reinsurance workflows.
• Create clear procedures aligning with contractual, regulatory, and control requirements.
• Oversee process reviews to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
• Coordinate across Claims, Reinsurance, Finance, Technology, and Audit stakeholders.
• Develop recommendations and updates for system enhancements and risk mitigation.
• Ensure changes are implemented effectively and consistently.
