Job summary

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent legal degree required or preferred.
• At least five years of experience in claims, litigation, or workers’ compensation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of litigated claims including high-exposure cases.
• Develop litigation strategy, manage budgets, and supervise law firms.
• Liaise with employees, claim team, attorneys, and management.
• Oversee staff and vendor relationships, provide training.
• Investigate claims, evaluate damages, and reserves accuracy.
• Negotiate settlements with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Improve claims handling processes and retain records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
