Job summary

BlueWave Express Car Wash is seeking a Claims Specialist to manage vehicle-damage and guest-claim investigations from intake to resolution. You will review evidence, coordinate with stores, insurers, and repair facilities, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the process.

The role requires strong investigative skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to maintain a customer-focused experience while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years in claims handling or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process customer claims related to vehicle damage.
• Conduct investigations using incident reports, photos, video, and estimates.
• Communicate with store leadership, guests, insurers, attorneys, and stakeholders.
• Document claim activity and maintain records in systems.
• Coordinate inspections, reviews, approvals, and payments.
• Prepare claim determination letters and settlement notices.
• Track claim status with timely follow-ups.
• Identify trends and recommend reducing future claims.
• Collaborate with site managers to gather facts.
