Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future.
• Enrolled in or have obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Suggested majors: Business Admin, Liberal Arts with business focus, Business Management, Risk Management & Insurance, or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Housing assistance not provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured onboarding to Travelers systems and protocols.
• Gain exposure to Personal and Business Insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity.
• Learn strategies for investigating, negotiating and resolving claims thoroughly, accurately and efficiently.
• Develop knowledge of claim circumstances, damage estimation, applicable coverages and customer support.
• Observe Claim Professionals through desk work and ride-alongs with experienced employees.
• Work with a designated manager/mentor through core assignments.
• Complete challenging and meaningful project work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
