Job summary

Engineered Floors is seeking a Claims Analyst to partner with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve account reconciliation issues. You will research claims, resolve chargebacks, and support the Credit Department to keep orders moving.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in carpet claims, familiarity with carpet manufacturing, and strong computer skills in AS400, Word, and Excel, with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of carpet claims experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the carpet manufacturing process preferred.
• Knowledge of Customer Service functions as it pertains to claim resolution.
• Proficient and accurate with computers, AS400 system, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive business relationships both internally and externally to promote company goals
• Research claims to determine appropriate action for claim resolution based on warranty, inspection report, lab results, input from dealer, etc.
• Research chargebacks and disputed invoices resulting in an appropriate resolution
• Assist the Credit Department in resolving issues that could potentially prohibit the shipment of orders
• Process all claims with attention given to each request in a timely manner
• Serve as a liaison for dealers and sales force for determining a resolution and following up on pending claims
• Work with Quality Control on defect resolution
• Schedule return authorizations with dealer, carrier, or warehouses
• Correspond with carrier and dealers regarding damaged or lost freight claims
