Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Warwick, RI. You’ll learn to help customers get back on the road after an accident, handling a full case load by phone with coaching from leaders and a collaborative team.

Duties include determining coverage and liability, interviewing customers and witnesses, and coordinating with appraisers to manage repairs. Compensation ranges from $59,500 to $63,500 yearly with up to 16% gainshare; benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience or a Bachelor's degree or two years with an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage and liability.
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other carriers to resolve claims.
