Job summary

Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster to investigate and process claims across designated counties in Oklahoma. You will gather statements, reports and photos, verify coverage, set reserves, and advance files toward settlement.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with travel to county offices and storm teams as needed. A valid driver's license and adjuster credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience accepted.
• Current Oklahoma driver’s license and adjuster license preferred.
• Strong investigative, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel across counties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Investigate all lines insurance claims within territory and process to settlement.
• Obtain statements, reports and photos; verify coverage and reserve amounts.
• Analyze data and determine extent of loss; prepare summaries.
• Settle claims within authority; issue payments and finalize files.
• Consult with District Claims Manager on complex or high-exposure cases.
• Review open files regularly and adjust reserves as needed.
• Travel to county offices and storm teams when required.
• Maintain company vehicle and submit weekly expense reports.
