Job summary

Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a claims adjuster to investigate insurance claims across specified Oklahoma counties and manage end-to-end settlement within authority limits.

Qualifications

• Investigate all lines insurance claims within assigned territory and limits of authority.
• Evaluate claims and prepare summaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Settle claims within authority; issue payments and obtain releases when needed.

Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims within assigned territory and limits of authority; complete all phases from inception to settlement.
• Investigate major losses, liability/fire damage claims, catastrophes, and litigation as needed.
• Obtain loss reports, statements, reports, appraisals, and photographs; verify information.
• Confirm coverage for new claims, set reserves, and maintain diaries for file reviews.
• Analyze data and determine coverage and liability; prepare claims summaries.
• Settle claims within authority; issue drafts and close files; handle liability releases.
• Travel to county offices and storm teams as required; maintain company car and expenses.
