Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Confirm coverage and complete auto total loss claim from inception to settlement.
• Investigate major losses with Specialists/Manager.
• Obtain appraisals, repair estimates, totals loss evaluations, photos, and market comparables.
• Analyze data and prepare claims summaries; determine loss coverage and extent.
• Settle claims within authority; issue payments and obtain liability releases.
• Complete tag/tax and title, approve rental vehicle usage, report salvage to pool.
• Consult District Claims Manager on complex claims or high exposure.
• Review open claims and adjust reserves as needed.
• Travel to county offices and storm-team activations for catastrophes.
