You will work with various departments to gather information, communicate with customers, and maintain the Berger Claim System to ensure accurate processing. The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or office experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Well organized, detail oriented and able to complete tasks on schedule.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Open and enter claims daily.
• Process claims for Berger agents and national accounts.
• Communicate daily with customers.
• Maintain up-to-date information in the Berger Claim System.
• Collaborate with General Managers, Customer Service, Operations and Drivers to obtain accurate claim details.
• Answer main Claim Department phone line and determine course of action.
• Assist with managing the Corporate Claims Inbox.
• Assign outside repair vendors based on location and expertise.
• Maintain required reports and submit vendor payments for supervisor approval.
• Scan documents into the imaging system and file closed claims.
