Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree obtained or in progress.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured onboarding to Travelers systems and protocols.
• Gain exposure to Personal and Business Insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity.
• Learn strategies for investigating, negotiating, and resolving claims thoroughly and accurately.
• Develop knowledge of incident details, damage estimation, and coverage.
• Observe Claim Professionals through desk work and ride-alongs.
• Work with a manager or mentor through core assignments.
• Develop customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Complete challenging and meaningful project work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have obtained or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Suggested college majors include Business Administration, Liberal Arts with business focus preferred, Business Management, Risk Management and Insurance, or a business-related discipline
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
