Powerserve Technologies is seeking a Substation Design Engineer (Civil/Structural) to design civil and structural components for electrical substations. Remote within Florida, with occasional site visits, and coordination with electrical engineers and project teams to deliver complete designs.

The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, constructibility, and long-term performance, with a focus on collaboration across EPC project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 3+ years of civil/structural design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD or similar
• Strong understanding of foundations, site development, and structural analysis

Responsibilities

• Design civil and structural components of electrical substations
• Prepare foundation designs, structural layouts, and site drainage plans
• Perform calculations, code compliance reviews, and design reviews
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure constructible designs
