Job summary

Beca is seeking a Resident Technical Officer for a Nursing Home Project along Dover Road in Missouri. This on-site role involves supervising site activities, reviewing drawings, enforcing safety, and coordinating with the consultant team to ensure timely completion.

The ideal candidate has an ITE certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, JAC-accredited with RTO Practising Certificate, and at least 5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer, ideally on healthcare projects.

Qualifications

• ITE certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
• Preferably with experiences in healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
• Estimated commencement of work in end September 2026.
