Job summary

NACHI CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. seeks a Civil Engineering professional to assist the Project Manager in planning and executing site works.

The role focuses on on-site technical and engineering tasks, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure compliance and progress. The ideal candidate has a degree in civil engineering, at least two years of relevant experience, and knowledge of CAD.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in project planning and execution.
• Prepare method statements, construction program, shop drawings and related submissions.
• Liaises with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen and workers to meet client & regulatory requirements.
• Assist in monthly progress claims and progress reports.
• Ensure on-site works meet quality standards and contractual requirements.

• Liaises with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.

• Class 3 driving license

• Familiar with road work construction field
• Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Ensure works carried out meet company's quality standards & contractual requirements.
• Involved in project planning, monitoring project progress and schedule.
• Including prepare work plan, schedule, preparation all the related work procedure/method statement, job safety analysis, technical clarification , resources management and procurement arrangement .
• To co-ordinate with the client, consultant, sub-contractors on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.
• Include attending all progress meeting.
• Assisting Project Manager in monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports.
• Ensuring supervisors, foremen, workers and sub-con meets client & regulatory work requirements.
• Ensuring Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out at all times.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
• Able work long hours
