Job summary

Chiu Teng Construction Co. Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure projects in the region.

The role focuses on coordinating with consultants, authorities, and construction teams to ensure schedule adherence and successful delivery. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, at least 10 years in civil/structural supervision, and proficient use of AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience supervising civil and structural works.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board.
• LTA project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants, construction teams, and authorities to manage progress and keep the schedule.
• Lead the project operations, schedule, and specifications to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage site document filing and record-keeping per ISO standards.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Monitor safety compliance and workplace health regulations.
• Maintain quality of project delivery to meet requirements and regulations.
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.

Job description

• Good understanding of project management and controls.
• Good understanding of Authority submissions and approval.
• Ability to demonstrate and implement cost-savings measures.
• Ability to deal effectively with all consultants, construction teams, and relevant authorities.
• Ability to clearly and effectively express ideas, thoughts, and concepts verbally and in written form.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage the progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
• Manage operational costs to keep costs within the budget.
• Manage site document filing and record-keeping in accordance with the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
• Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Monitor compliance of work with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Monitor the quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
• Oversee the project team and subcontractors in the delivery of the project to meet the completion date.
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the supervision of civil and structural works, preferably in large-scale transit or infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board.
• Candidates with LTA project experience will be given preference.
• Strong knowledge of structural drawings, specifications, regulatory codes, and industry standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant structural or coordination software.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
