Job summary

Pacifico Energy in Dallas seeks a Civil and Structural Engineer to lead civil and structural design for power generation projects, including gas turbines, solar, and BESS integrations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience supporting civil and structural engineering for power generation or large industrial infrastructure projects.
• Experience supervising EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
• Working knowledge of civil site design, foundation and structural steel design for gas turbine facilities.
• Strong technical review, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil engineering design activities for site layout, grading, earthwork, roads, drainage, and utilities.
• Review civil design deliverables for constructability and integration with plant design.
• Ensure designs address flood protection, stormwater, erosion control, and site access.
• Coordinate structural design activities for foundations, steel structures, and equipment supports.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for code compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces with equipment vendors and other disciplines.
• Support regulatory communications and risk management processes.
• Maintain design documentation and progress reporting.
