Job summary

Pacifico Energy seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the electrical scope from conceptual design through EPC, procurement, construction, and commissioning for power generation systems including gas turbines, PV, and BESS.

You will lead electrical design, review vendor deliverables, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure a fully integrated power solution for large industrial facilities and data centers.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in power plants, renewable energy, or industrial power systems.
• Proficiency with ETAP/PSCAD for power system analysis.
• Knowledge of HV/MV design, protection schemes, and grid interconnection requirements.
• Experience producing IFC-level design deliverables and wiring diagrams.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• English proficiency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical scope from conceptual design through EPC and commissioning.
• Develop SLDs, electrical layouts, and system architectures for gas turbines, solar PV, and BESS.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and control teams for integrated power solutions.
• Review vendor drawings, FATs, and ensure compliance with codes and interconnection standards.
• Support QA/QC, site inspections, and energization activities through project handover.
