Job summary

LND Technical Services LLC is seeking a skilled Civil Structural Engineer to support utility-scale power projects across the U.S., including substations, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy facilities. You will design structural systems, foundations, and site layouts, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and compliant solutions.

The role involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, design through construction, and field support with on-site guidance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–10 years of civil/structural exp in Power/Utility.
• PE license to sign off on drawings.
• Proficiency with STAAD Pro, RISA, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of ASCE, ACI, AISC, NESC, IEEE codes.
• Excellent problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of foundations, steel, concrete, and equipment supports for substations and transmission.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specs, and technical reports.
• Coordinate site grading, drainage, and erosion control design.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and stamp drawings (PE or pursuing licensure).
• Support project phases from feasibility through construction and QA/QC.
