Job summary

SpaceX in McGregor, TX, is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary project teams through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of infrastructure across SpaceX facilities. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or another engineering discipline.
1+ years of professional experience focused on design or build of structural infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout civil/structural engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects.
Perform civil/structural design and analysis for steel and concrete.
Write, negotiate, and manage contracts with subcontractors across disciplines.
Manage civil and structural aspects of construction projects.
Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients.
Provide onsite inspections and field observations.
Resolve field design/construction conflicts in real time.
Provide technical support to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
