Job summary

SpaceX in McGregor, Texas, seeks a Sr. Civil Engineer to lead the design, build, and activation of infrastructure for a range of projects at the McGregor Rocket Development Facility and other SpaceX sites.

You will own tasks from concept through implementation to support missions beyond Earth. Responsibilities include creating drawings and analyses for land development, managing grading and drainage calculations, coordinating permits, and leading multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 6+ years of professional civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D and related tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects.
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater facilities, and utilities.
• Coordinate permits with local, state, and federal authorities and manage civil construction on site.
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and internal clients to define requirements, schedules, and costs.
• Resolve design and field construction conflicts in real time.
