Job summary

GPAC is looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design of commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional projects from concept through construction support.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, RAM Structural System, RISA, STAAD.Pro or ETABS, plus a strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE standards. PE preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or Structural Engineering.
  • PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
  • 4+ years of structural engineering experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and RAM/RISA/STAAD/ETABS.
  • Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS and related standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Prepare structural calculations, engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Develop designs utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry construction.

  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction-phase support.
  • Conduct occasional field visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and client requirements.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
