Job summary

IREN in Sweetwater, TX, seeks a Construction Manager – Civil/Structural to lead earthworks, foundations, steel, and utilities on large data-center projects. You will own field execution, coordinate across engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 7+ years in civil construction with supervisory experience, strong reading of drawings, and familiarity with EPCM delivery models; on-site rotation and a 69

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in civil construction with 3+ years in superintendent/CM roles on large-scale projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, specs, and schedules.
• Experience in EPCM project delivery and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, direction, organization, and budget of civil/structural work.
• Develop strategies, schedules, and project frameworks for compliant delivery.
• Ensure CWPs are defined and aligned with ENG/Procurement.
• supervise daily civil/structural activities including earthworks and utilities.
• Mentor subcontractors and field personnel; ensure safety and quality.
• Identify risks; maintain safety/compliance registers.
• Oversee audits and project documentation to ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with regulators, auditors, and vendors for approvals.
• Drive process improvements and training on risk and compliance.
