Job summary

The Day & Zimmermann team is seeking a Civil Supervisor for our Baxley, GA project site. You will lead Craft employees to achieve safety, quality, cost and schedule goals while coordinating planning, work methods, subcontractors, equipment, and supplies.

You’ll ensure crew compliance with the Safety and Quality Programs and maintain records, serving as a role model for ethics and conduct. Strong English communication and decision-making are essential for daily field operations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of background screening process.
• Ability to read and write complex documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction to Craft employees to meet Safety Goals, Quality requirements, Cost, Schedule, and design requirements.
• Coordinates job planning, work methods, subcontractors, equipment usage and rentals, and procurement of supplies and tools.
• Responsible for ensuring crew/team compliance to the DZ Safety Program and Quality Program.
• Maintains all business records and reports properly and honestly, to protect company and client assets. Evaluates subordinates based on their commitment to the Codes of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct and acts as a role model.
• Personally engages in field walkdowns of planned and ongoing Craft and Construction activities. Performs inspection of work in progress to assess status and resolve problems firsthand.
