You will guide grading, drainage, utility layouts, and permitting efforts, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 6+ years of site design experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years Civil/Site design and land development experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and preparation of civil/site development plans, including grading, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, and site layout.
• Manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, permit applications, and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with Richmond, VA and regional jurisdictional requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Support project managers with client communication and project execution.
