Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Site Development Engineer in Richmond, VA to support the civil department’s growth under the head of the department. The ideal candidate will contribute to project management, document production, and client relations while advancing with a growing civil team. The position requires a B.S.

in Civil Engineering with 3–8 years of civil design experience; PE is preferred but not required. Proficiency in AutoCAD C3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; 3–8 years of civil design experience.
• PE preferred but not required.
• Experience in site development and stormwater management design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable building relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in projects from design through construction completion.
• Working closely with architects, team members, and contractors.
• Preparing, compiling, and submitting drawing packages and reports.
• Supporting the civil department’s growth in preparing design standards and procedures.
