Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience taking industrial, infrastructure or large commercial sites through environmental permitting.
• Hands-on knowledge of SWPPP preparation, wetland delineations, stormwater permitting and environmental applications.
• Strong understanding of site grading, drainage, stormwater infrastructure and civil drawings.
• Comfortable working directly with consultants, regulators and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental and civil site development, including SWPPP, construction stormwater, grading and drainage, erosion and sediment control, wetlands and waters permitting, and land-disturbance approvals.
• Assess prospective sites for key development risks, including wetlands, floodplains, protected species, contamination and drainage constraints.
• Coordinate directly with environmental agencies, local authorities and permitting bodies to secure approvals and maintain project schedules.
• Review and challenge grading plans, drainage calculations, stormwater systems, site utilities, access roads and erosion-control plans.
• Manage civil engineering and environmental consultants, ensuring technical submissions are complete, accurate and permit-ready.
• Coordinate civil and environmental requirements with wider design and construction teams to minimise rework and keep projects moving.
