Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a CAD Drafter in Hackettstown, NJ to join our Civil/Site Department. You’ll prepare detailed civil/site plans and construction documents for land development and municipal infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of drafting Civil/Site drawings, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and the ability to interpret plans, surveys, and specifications. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in CAD Drafting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing civil/site drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, specs, surveys, and details.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil/site drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop site layout, grading, utilities, roads, drainage, and landscaping plans.
• Incorporate revisions and markups into engineering drawings.
• Create plan, profile, and detail sheets for land development projects.
• Coordinate drawing production with engineers, surveyors, and technicians.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Maintain project files and documentation.
