French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a CAD Drafter to join our Civil/Site Department in Hackettstown, NJ. The successful candidate will prepare detailed civil/site plans and construction documents for land development and municipal infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has professional experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and the ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, surveys, and construction details.

Qualifications

• Must have professional experience preparing civil/site engineering drawings.
• Experience interpreting engineering plans, specs, surveys, and construction details.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil/site engineering plans and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop site layout, grading, utility, roadway, drainage, erosion and sediment control, and landscaping plans under direction of engineers.
• Incorporate design markups and redline revisions into drawings.
• Create plan, profile, and detail sheets for land development and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Assist with stormwater management exhibits, permit plans, and project documentation.
• Coordinate drawing production with engineers, surveyors, planners, and other staff.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with drafting standards.
