Job summary

EXP is seeking a Technician Level I (Civil) in South Florida to support transportation planning and infrastructure projects. You’ll assist with technical analysis, coordination, documentation management, and project delivery activities across aviation, seaport, transportation, and public-sector initiatives in Miami-Dade County.

The role requires a bachelor’s in planning or civil engineering and ~3 years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or civil engineering.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in transportation/planning.
• Experience with grant administration and reporting.
• Experience administering Microsoft SharePoint sites and records management.

Responsibilities

• Support transportation planning projects through coordination and technical support.
• Assist project managers with tracking, scheduling, budgeting, and deliverables.
• Coordinate communications with clients, consultants, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Support grant administration including tracking and reporting for funded programs.
• Review invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Maintain project files and document control in line with procedures.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, presentations, and executive correspondence.
• Assist with procurement, contract administration, and project documentation.
