Job summary

AECOM in South Florida is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a highly technical Transportation design team focused on highway and roadway projects in Coral Gables and Fort Lauderdale. This role combines technical design leadership with project management, budget and client engagement responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of transportation experience, Florida PE, and a proven track record in FDOT projects, QA/QC, and team mentoring.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
• Strong project management, client relations and QA/QC experience.
• Experience with FDOT Design/Design Build preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for roadway design project pursuits.
• Manage budgets, schedules, clients, subs and QA/QC of deliverables.
• Develop advanced design concepts and technical standards.
• Mentor and lead a transportation team and support business development.
