Job summary

HNTB is seeking Intern Engineers in Aviation, ITS, Traffic, Transit, Tolls and Construction in South Florida. You will assist engineering teams with research, development and the preparation of drawings as part of an accredited post-secondary program.

Strong basic math, geometry and Microsoft Office skills are expected. This internship provides hands-on exposure to infrastructure projects in Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program
• Enrolled in an accredited engineering program with ongoing coursework
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
