Job summary

Harris County seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple complex infrastructure programs from concept through construction. You will define scope, set schedules, allocate resources, and provide technical guidance to a team of professionals to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, managing cost/schedule, and mitigating risks while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
Licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas, or able to obtain within six months of hire.
Valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record.
Experience in planning, design, and construction management of roadway/bridge projects.
Positions PM I– PM V with years-of-experience ladder.
Preferred PM certifications such as CAPM, PMP, PgMP or related.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, design, and construction management from concept to completion.
Manage project scope, cost, and schedule; deliver on time and within budget.
Direct day-to-day activities of team members and consultants/contractors.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables and milestones.
Develop and implement project strategies to meet time, scope, and funding constraints.
Prepare and maintain schedules, budgets, and quality objectives.
Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to leadership and team.
