Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager (PE) to lead and grow our Land Development practice in Maryland. You will oversee residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects from feasibility through entitlement, design, permitting, and construction administration.

The ideal candidate holds an active PE license and 6–10+ years of civil engineering experience, with expertise in site layout, grading, stormwater management, and regulatory permitting.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSCE required.
• Active PE license required.
• 6+ years of progressive civil land development experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD/StormCAD, and stormwater modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of land development projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use).
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and billings; prepare proposals and amendments.
• Direct internal design teams and manage external sub-consultants.
• Serve as main client contact and coordinate hearings and approvals.
• Oversee site design, grading, utilities, and SWM/BMP compliance.
• Perform QA/QC on plans and calculations; ensure adherence to standards.
