Job summary

BL Companies, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to oversee land development projects from start to finish, managing client relationships, directing execution, and ensuring quality within scope, budget, and timeline.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of civil engineering experience with a PE license and strong leadership abilities, capable of mentoring junior staff and navigating regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• PE License and 10+ years of land development engineering experience are required.
• Strong leadership experience managing full-time staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Experience working with municipal agencies, regulatory bodies, and private sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of land development projects across retail, commercial, and residential sectors.
• Act as the primary client contact, building relationships and managing expectations.
• Oversee project teams, assign resources, and drive efficiency.
• Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Present at public meetings and represent clients before agencies and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines within BL Companies and with external partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff to foster learning.
