Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Manager/Project Engineer to join the Civil, Municipal and Facilities team in our Lakewood, CO office.

The successful candidate will provide operational, permitting, compliance, design and construction services across water, wastewater, stormwater and roadway systems. The ideal candidate has eight+ years of experience and a Colorado PE license or the ability to obtain one within three months, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience with Colorado PE license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with HydroCAD or similar hydrology software.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with infrastructure design and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, permitting, design and construction support for water, wastewater, stormwater and roadways.
• Prepare civil/site designs for land development.
• Prepare grading and sediment control plans.
• Prepare technical design and permit packages.
• Present designs at Planning Board meetings.
• Manage budgets, schedules, invoicing, and subcontractors.
• Lead junior staff and coordinate with project teams.
• Ensure QA/QC and client service.
