Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a civil/industrial project professional in Baltimore, MD, to plan, direct, and coordinate large-scale projects within time and budget constraints. The role requires extensive travel within the project region, including frequent overnight stays, with hotel accommodations provided as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 2+ years of related experience, and is proficient in CPM scheduling, cost control, and project

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; 2+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with CPM scheduling programs; produces accurate schedules and maintains/update project timelines.
• Experience reading plans and specifications; ensures conformance to engineering plans, specs and safety standards.
• Strong cost and productivity data understanding; able to analyze and report financials for projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with job teams and owners.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand plans and specifications.
• Follow established administrative procedures for project administration.
• Oversee field activities and inspect sites to ensure compliance with plans and safety standards.
• Produce and update CPM schedules; monitor progress with the Project Superintendent.
• Coordinate submittal process and working drawings; ensure timely approvals and deliveries.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, environmental studies, and designs as necessary.
• Provide cost, income, and cash flow projections; monitor job costs and production budget.
• Assist in settlement of change orders and vendor invoices.
• Respond quickly to issues; manage multiple tasks and maintain organized files.
