Job summary

Kokosing, one of America’s largest general contractors, seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate industrial construction activities. Projects include Water/Wastewater plants, factories, and data centers; typical workload covers one large project or several smaller ones.

You will lead project engineers, superintendents, and foremen, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality while liaising with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 8+ years of construction, design, finance and management experience.
• PE credentialing is not required but is a strong plus.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure progress on schedule and within budget.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and determine project profit or loss.
• Lead project team in daily field coordination meetings and safety kickoff activities.
