Hire Velocity in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to manage planning, design, and construction of diverse civil projects. You will supervise activities, coordinate resources, and guide team members to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a PE license, 5+ years of civil engineering experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Remote candidates based in WA are considered, with a supportive benefit package including bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• PE license required; ability to obtain additional states.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in an engineering or construction firm.
• 5+ years of site development design experience.
• Proven track record of project management and client relationships.
• Hands-on contributor while leading Engineering as SME.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports.
• Coordinate with agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permits.
• Prepare grading plans, profiles, road design using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
• Perform complex calculations for storm water, utilities, and roads.
• Lead drafters, designers, and staff to complete projects on budget/time.
• Develop site plans for residential, commercial, industrial projects.
• Update spreadsheets, memos, and project-related documents.
• Support project administration with numbers, contracts, and invoices.
• Attend meetings for updates and assignments.
