Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Project Engineer for our Dallas or Fort Worth offices. You will apply broad engineering knowledge to a variety of land development projects, supervise engineers and technicians, and coordinate with clients to deliver high-quality design solutions.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s in civil engineering, and 6+ years of related experience, with strong competency in Civil 3D and site design. Collaborative ownership and a client-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of related Civil Engineering experience.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare planning and design documents in Civil Engineering.
• Perform design calculations and cost estimates with economic analyses.
• Assist with project scopes, schedules, budgets and progress reports.
• Coordinate projects with Olsson teams and clients; supervise team members.
• May serve as project manager on small projects and handle independent assignments.
