Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our Dallas or Fort Worth offices. You will apply civil engineering principles to a broad range of land development projects, coordinating with Olsson teams and clients, and guiding junior staff.

A PE license and strong Civil 3D skills are required. We emphasize ownership, collaboration, and community impact as you lead design tasks, manage scopes, and contribute to proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proven experience in civil design and project coordination.
• Knowledge of site layout, grading, utilities, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare planning and design documents in civil engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate projects with Olsson teams and clients; review design work.
• Assist with project scope, schedule, budgets, and progress reporting.
• May serve as project manager on small projects and assist with proposals.
• Mentor staff and coordinate tasks of junior engineers and technicians.
