Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to lead engineering and project management duties on land development projects from conception to completion. You will perform design calculations, help develop project scopes and schedules, and travel to job sites for observation.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 4–8 years of related experience, proficiency with Civil 3D, and PE licensure. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 4–8 years of civil engineering experience preferred.
• Proficient in Civil 3D software.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for projects.
• Assists with project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Performs design calculations and analyzes reports to prepare cost estimates.
• Coordinates project design aspects and communicates progress with managers/clients.
• Maintains project information and client records in the PM system.
• Supervises or guides less experienced staff where applicable.
• Travel to job sites as needed for observation.
