Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Civil Project Engineer in California with strong design and project coordination skills. The role supports low- to moderate-complexity civil projects, delivering engineering analysis, permits, reports, and site drainage solutions.

Collaboration with engineers and clients is essential to meet goals and ensure quality outcomes. The position requires a BS in Civil Engineering, PE licensure, and 2+ years of civil/construct ion experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license required.
• Minimum 2 years, 4 preferred in civil engineering/construction.
• Proficiency in design techniques and code compliance.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for civil site projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and similar project types.
• Use engineering software and tools to develop designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Complete and oversee permit applications with team, client, and reviewing jurisdictions.
• Perform surface modeling, watershed modeling, storm sewer and sanitary sewer design.
• Support projects through bidding and construction administration phases.
• Interact with clients to understand project needs and gather requirements.
