Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Columbus, MS (also Grand Prairie, TX) is seeking a Project Manager for Civil Programs to lead completion, maintenance and delivery of aircraft for North American and global customers.

You will coordinate departments, manage schedules and budgets, and support contract execution. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Program Management, 3 years in project management, budgeting experience, travel 10–20% (domestic/international), and strong English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of project management experience in a production/technical environment.
• Financial experience for budgeting purposes.
• Technical ability to comprehend technical data packages.
• 10–20% travel domestically and internationally.
• US Person under ITAR definition.
• Ability to break complex issues into manageable work packages.
• Strong crisis management and planning skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Access.
• G-Suite competency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members to bring projects to completion on schedule, budget and quality.
• Guide customers through the aircraft acquisition and completion process.
• Develop project timelines, track SPI and CPI, and communicate status weekly.
• Prepare and manage budgets, validate inputs, and adjust for changes.
• Own contracts from offer through completion and track contractual changes.
