Ardurra Group, Inc. seeks a Civil/Municipal Engineering Intern for our Secaucus, NJ office.

Under supervision, you will assist with municipal infrastructure design, stormwater, drainage, and site projects, gaining exposure to public sector engineering processes. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, you will support senior engineers, prepare plans and documents, and learn to use AutoCAD/Civil 3D, GIS, and other software.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Interest in civil engineering, municipal infrastructure, and working with local government agencies.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated, with ability to work with a team and independently.
• Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, infrastructure, and municipal systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or other engineering/design software is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with civil and municipal design tasks, including roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, wastewater, and site improvements.
• Support engineers with project data collection, basic engineering calculations, reports, specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Prepare plans, exhibits, maps, and other design documents for municipal projects.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review civil drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents for accuracy.
• Assist with field investigations and site visits to document conditions.
