Under supervision, you will assist with municipal infrastructure design, stormwater, drainage, and site projects, gaining exposure to public sector engineering processes. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, you will support senior engineers, prepare plans and documents, and learn to use AutoCAD/Civil 3D, GIS, and other software.
RVE, an Ardurra Company, is seeking a Civil/Municipal Engineering Intern in our Secaucus, NJ office.
This candidate will work under general supervision and perform assignments of limited scope that require the application of standard engineering techniques in carrying out a sequence of related tasks. Projects may include municipal infrastructure, roadway and site design, stormwater management, drainage improvements, utility design, and related public infrastructure projects.
Under moderate supervision, the Civil/Municipal Engineering Intern performs engineering assignments that will involve supporting municipal and civil engineering projects, technical documentation, design tasks, data collection. The Intern will gain exposure to working with municipalities, public infrastructure projects, engineering software, and the overall design and development process. The Intern is expected to demonstrate growing technical skills, initiative, and reliability in supporting project teams.
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. The expected hourly range for this position is $20.00/hr to $25.00/hr.
