Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Interest in civil engineering, municipal infrastructure, and working with local government agencies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented, reliable, able to work with a project team and independently.
• Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with entry-level civil engineering duties on municipal projects.
• Support civil and municipal design tasks including roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, wastewater, and site improvements.
• Help with data collection, basic calculations, reports, specifications, and schedules.
• Prepare plans, exhibits, maps, and design documents for municipal projects.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings and project documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Support field investigations and site visits to document conditions.
• Develop understanding of regulations, standards, and project processes from planning to permitting and construction.
