Job summary

Ardurra's RVE, an Ardurra Company, seeks a Civil/Municipal Engineering Intern for its Yardley, PA office to support municipal and civil projects under supervision.

You''ll assist with roadway, drainage, stormwater and utility design, collect data, perform basic calculations, and help prepare plans and exhibits. This internship offers exposure to working with municipalities and the design process, with opportunities to learn AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Interest in civil engineering, municipal infrastructure, and local government work.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with entry-level civil engineering tasks across municipal projects.
• Support roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, and site improvement design tasks.
• Help collect project data and prepare basic calculations and documentation.
• Prepare plans and maps for municipal projects.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Assist with field investigations and site visits.
• Develop familiarity with applicable regulations and design standards.
• Gain exposure to the project lifecycle from planning through permitting and construction.
